Giant Insect World has a variety of experiences that we can bring to your venue and community.
We have off-the-shelf experiences that can drop into a space or community setting and we can also work with you to customise the experience based on your priorities.
Each stop can include immersive and virtual experiences, public family days, schools programming and guest speakers.

Drawing
Engaging people in insect diversity can be as simple as showing them pictures of insects and asking them to draw their anatomical detail. We come with worksheets, visuals and a spirit of enquiry.
Virtual worlds
Virtual Insect Meadow is our 3D virtual space available via phones, computers and virtual reality headsets. You can preview the space here.
Insect games and trails
Different insect experiences range from games such as an ant obstacle course to augmented reality tour where people use an app to ‘collect’ insects on a walking trail. We love designing these…
Immersive Experience
Three-screen installation with floor-to-ceiling projections of macro photos featuring insects and their habitats. This experience was very popular when featured at Manchester Museum recently as part of Nepali celebrations.
Our network of entomologists, writers and creatives working with insect lore can come and share their work with you.
We have teamed up with insect educator, Marian Hill, who specialises in running school programmes and engagement on insects.
